Pickleball Athletes
Registration is complete for Orange County Pickleball Senior games. We are excited that the games will take place on the Ephesus Park outdoor courts for the first time. Courts will be reserved for the games on the competition days. If you’re not participating this year, come by and check out the competition!The Men’s and Women’s doubles events are scheduled for Saturday, April 8 beginning at 9am, and the Men’s & Women’s singles and mixed doubles events are scheduled for Sunday, April 9 beginning at 1:30pm. Rain-dates are April 22 and April 23.
This year, based on our advice to P&R, they will implement a round robin format similar to pickleball tournaments. Also, in order to provide more games for participants, all entrants will get to play teams in adjacent age brackets. We are excited and pleased about this format change (as opposed to playing one or two games to qualify, you will get more games to play while still qualifying based on your results against teams in just your age bracket).
P&R will send out final schedules the first week of April, and we’ll share those with you.
