DESCRIPTION:Competitive play is a regularly scheduled time for players who wish to practice their competitive game play to get together to hone their skills and prepare for tournament level play.   You partner up with a teammate to play games. The game format is “winners stay on”\, where the partners who win stay on the court and play another game (but after you win twice\, you rotate off).  Games are played to 11\, win by 1.   If the courts are full\, put your paddle in the paddle saddle to indicate you’re waiting to play.  Courts 1-5 are programmed for competitive play\, Court 6 is reserved for open play. \n  \nEphesus Court Information \nBring your own paddle and balls.  Restrooms and water are available spring\, summer fall.  PortaPotty during the winter.   Recommend bringing your own drinks.   There are four benches on the courts.  Feel free to bring your own chair for seating.   Note: this event is winter weather/temperature dependent…people may not always be out. \n  \nCourt Rules \nNo beverages other than water are allowed on the courts. Alcohol is strictly forbidden on any city property. Music is permitted. But must be muted\, respectful and limited to a single source located near the front entry fence. To register for this Program or to obtain more information contact our Ambassadors elsewhere on this site under “Clinics” below the “Learn” tab. \nCOURT RULES \nWhen all courts are full and players are waiting to play individuals should queue up by placing their paddles in the paddle saddles that are attached to the fence. (Or should use some other equitable sign-up system.) Players on the court should play one game to 11\, then come off after the game ends\, being replaced by the next four players waiting to play. Singles games are not permitted when courts are full and individuals  are waiting to play. During certain times of the week the courts may be reserved for scheduled activities. \nNo beverages other than water are allowed on the courts. Alcohol is strictly forbidden on any city property. Music is permitted. But must be muted\, respectful and limited to a single source located near the front entry fence when tennis players are present on the two courts immediately adjacent to the back pickleball courts. DESCRIPTION:Competitive play is a regularly scheduled time for players who wish to practice their competitive game play to get together to hone their skills and prepare for tournament level play.   You partner up with a teammate to play games. The game format is “winners stay on”\, where the partners who win stay on the court and play another game (but after you win twice\, you rotate off).  Games are played to 11\, win by 1.   If the courts are full\, put your paddle in the paddle saddle to indicate you’re waiting to play.  Courts 1-5 are programmed for competitive play\, Court 6 is reserved for open play. \nEphesus Court Information \nBring your own paddle and balls.  Restrooms and water are available spring\, summer fall.  PortaPotty during the winter.   Recommend bringing your own drinks.   There are four benches on the courts.  Feel free to bring your own chair for seating.   Note: this event is winter weather/temperature dependent…people may not always be out. \nCourt Rules \nNo beverages other than water are allowed on the courts. Alcohol is strictly forbidden on any city property. Music is permitted. But must be muted\, respectful and limited to a single source located near the front entry fence. Dogs are not permitted within the fenced-in areas of Ephesus Park.

DESCRIPTION:Play at the Community Center requires mandatory payment of a fee for entry. Fees for Orange County residents are $2/session or $60 annually. For out-of -county residents the fees are $3/session or $96/year. \nEnter the Recreation Center\, check in at the reception desk to  pay necessary fees and then walk straight through to the gymnasium. If new\, ask to speak to one of the coaches. Open play for all skill levels.  Equipment can be provided if you don’t have your own. Multiple players usually attend this indoor event.  Three courts open. Water and restrooms available. Just wear athletic shoes and come prepared to have FUN! \nWe offer FREE lessons by appointment on most M-W-F at  Ephesus Courts before regular play begins. DESCRIPTION:Beginner through Intermediate \nIntended for Beginner/Intermediate players with an emphasis on social\, fun play. Available to players of all levels. But emphasis is on those players new to the game and those still developing their  intermediate skills  We encourage newer players to come out at this time.  More experienced players are encouraged to help provide tips and instruction to newer players. \nBring your own paddle.  Your own balls are suggested.  Restrooms are available except during the Winter months when a porta potty is provided. A water fountain is available but is turned off during the Winter. So bringing your own water bottle is suggested. Four benches are provided but you might want to bring your own chair for seating. \nCourt Rules \nWhen all courts are full and players are waiting to play individuals should queue up by placing their paddles in the paddle saddles that are attached to the fence. Or may use some other equitable sign-up system. Players on the court should play one game to 11\, then come off after the game ends\, being replaced by the next four players waiting to play. Single games are not encouraged when courts are full and individuals  are waiting to play. During certain times of the week the courts may be reserved for scheduled activities. \nNo beverages other than water are allowed on the courts. Alcohol is strictly forbidden on any city property. Singles games are not permitted when courts are full and individuals  are waiting to play.
