IMPORTANT: your help needed–pickleball courts at Legion Rd Park

Please, please click on and fill out the survey below THIS WEEKEND to help us get outdoor pickleball courts at the proposed Legion Rd Park.

The town of Chapel Hill’s Legion Rd Park task force is about to wrap up it’s work and make recommendations to the town council.  They will be reviewing the results of an online survey they have posted.   This will be a big factor in their recommendations to the town.   If everyone of you completes their survey this will have a HUGE positive effect towards us getting pickleball courts at Legion Rd.

When you answer the survey, I strongly suggest considering the following responses to help them know about our desire for pickleball courts.

Question #1:  click on BOTH “Net & court based sports” AND “indoor gymnasium based sports”

Question #2:  your choice, but don’t pick too many as they compete for outdoor space with possible pickleball courts! Suggest  “Talking walks” as good choice since that doesn’t take away potential pickleball space. 🙂

Question #3: pick BOTH “Community Center” AND “Other” and for Other fill in “Pickleball Outdoor Courts Complex”.

Questions 4-8:  fill in as normal.
